Questar III
provides more than 250 instructional and support services to its 23
component school districts that serve about 40,000 students from
Rensselaer, Columbia and Greene counties. Questar III also provides
additional services to approximately 580 school districts and all 37
BOCES in New York State.
Questar III offers programs and services in the following areas:
Career and Technical Education, Special Education, General Education
and District Support Services.
The name Questar III reflects an evolution in the organization's
role and mission that has taken place over the last decade. "Quest"
stands for the educational journey and our search for excellence;
"Star" for the brilliance of our programs, staff and students; and
"III" for the three counties we serve.
As an innovative organization characterized by visionary and
steadfast leadership, the mission of Questar III is to promote the
growth of individuals as contributors to our diverse society and to
link and augment the capability, quality and efficiency of school
districts and other agencies through a commitment to achievement,
advocacy and accountability.
