A study tour especially created for component school district personnel drew about twenty officials on December 17.
Officials from Bethlehem, East Greenbush, Catskill, Menands, Lansingburgh, Ichabod Crane and more schools are scheduled to attend the event, which was open to all schools in the Capital Region and Questar III BOCES.
Led by students, the officials were brought on a tour of the school, spending about 10 minutes in each active class. They also asked students and faculty members questions and heard presentations from Principal Dan Liebert and faculty members.
Study tours of TVHS - the only school of its kind in New York State - are designed for those interested in learning more about the school. The tours feature information on principles and practices followed at TVHS, as well as provide an opportunity for educators to observe TVHS faculty and staff in the classroom.
This special tours are designed to ensure counselors have a complete understanding of TVHS when approached by student interested in attending.
Tech Valley High School, operated by Capital Region and Questar III BOCES, is a regional public high school that serves students from 40 school districts.
