Thirty juniors from Tech Valley High School toured the state Capitol on Monday and met with Sen. Neil Breslin to present him with an award and thank him for his dedication to the school.
The students thanked the Albany County senator for his support of the regional public high school and presented him with a class photo. They also asked questions about the legislative process during a nearly half-hour question and answer session, including questions about cuts to state aid to schools.
The students then received a guided tour of the Capitol, visiting among other locations, the floor of the Assembly and the famed Million Dollar Staircase.
