Rats bring green for TVHS post

A fundraiser and school spirit night at an Albany River Rats game earlier this month was a success, organizers report.
The December 12 event at the Times Union Center raised more than $500, which will be used to offset costs for the Tech Valley High School's first prom. The prom will be conducted in the spring.
"It went really well. We are very pleased," said parent and event organizer Pam Naylor.
Prom organizers continue to collect donations for the event in the school office and other fundraisers are being considered.
