Student Learning Teams meet

TVHS parents, students and their peers met with TVHS faculty on January 28 and 29th to discuss goals and achievements.
Student Learning Teams (SLTs), which consist of a student, parent, advisor, a student peer, and a community member, meet periodically during the school year to track the student’s achievements and discuss goals. Freshmen SLTs meet three times a year the teams for other students meet twice.
The SLTs serve as a safety net for students to help with student success and assist in their understanding of what is taking place in school.
