Prom planning includes bake sale

A recent bake sale continued student efforts to raise funds for Tech Valley High School's first ever formal dance and prom.
The students sold baked goods that were donated by parents during both lunch periods. It was the latest effort in a string of events that have included a River Rat's fundraiser and "Hog Wild" loose change collection.
Students and organizers hope to offset the cost of the May 21 event at Michael's Banquet House in Latham.
