Eighty-two students have applied to enter Tech Valley High School as freshmen next fall.
The applicants come from 21 school districts across the Capital Region and mid-Hudson Valley.
A lottery awarding spots in the freshmen class will be conducted on Friday.
The number of students each district sends is dependent on the school district, meaning there is a potential for more than 21 students to be a part of the freshman class. As previously reported on this website, a number of districts send more than one student per grade.
