Competing to be charitable

03.09.10
TVHS students have a "sweet" reward ahead if they can be the most charitable in their school.
Students in all grade levels are competing to see who can raise the most donations for the Albany City Mission.
The students who gather the most by the end of this week will win an ice cream party, said teacher Leah Penniman.
The students are grouped together by their advisers, with each faculty advisor having about 10 students under their watch. The advisor whose students collect the most donation will win the ice cream party, which is being provided by a local retailer, Penniman said.
