Update
New Faculty Announced
Three new teachers and one staff member have joined the TVHS faculty. They were approved by the TVHS Operating Board in June.

“We are very excited about our new staff members,” said Dan Liebert, Tech Valley High principal. “They bring a world of experience and accomplishment both in education and in their fields. They are innovative and collaborative – mirroring the characteristics of Tech Valley High."

Edward Coolidge

Edward Coolidge, art: Mr. Coolidge has had extensive experience as an art instructor and artist. He taught at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Armory Center for the Arts in Pasadena, Camino Nuevo Charter Academy and the Heart Project in Los Angeles. His work has been exhibited at the California Institute of the Arts, Marylhurst University, Santa Monica Museum of Art and numerous galleries in California. He received a B.A. in English from Reed College and an M.F.A. from California Institute of the Arts.

Allyson James, physical education and health: Ms. James has more than 23 years’ teaching experience, most recently as a health educator at Shenendehowa Central School District. She received a B.S. in education from Washington State University and an M.E. from Seattle University and holds New York State teaching certificates physical education, English and health.

Diana Lim

Diana Lim, Mandarin Chinese: Ms. Lim was a Chinese teacher and language consultant. She also spent 10 years as an associate professor of business and served as quality assurance manager at Singapore Polytechnic and developed training courses for Raffles International. She graduated from Brigham Young University and received her teaching certificate from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom.
 

Don Groff

Don Groff, senior network and systems technician: Mr. Groff has several years of experience working as a network and systems technician, previously working for the Career & Technical School in Albany. He provides support for Tech Valley High's high tech infrastructure, as well as researching and implementing new technology and programs.
